Job Description

We are delighted to be supporting our city centre based client, who bring a strong reputation and positive working culture, as they add to their team at this senior level. An attractive day rate is on offer as is flexibility in hours where possible.

In this long term contract role as Senior Business Analyst, reporting to the Team Lead, you will take responsibility for all aspects of the North Sea Engineering forecast, provide MI to the Decommissioning, Operational and Management Teams to support performance management and decision making, and ensure that accurate business assumptions are incorporated in the accounting and forecasting processes.

In addition, you will provide leadership and support to less experienced members of the team and be integral in evaluating current processes and procedures, making recommendations for process improvements.

To be considered, you will have extensive experience (min 10 years) within a similar role, with good working knowledge of an oil and gas E&P business including strong awareness of commercial arrangements. You will be able to build effective working relationships across the wider business and the finance department, and able to communicate succinctly across functions and at all organisational levels. Holding a professional accountancy qualification is preferred but not essential.
