Our mission is to provide the best possible person‑centred care to elderly and vulnerable people, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our IT Demand & Innovation Team to support this goal.

In this brand new position, you will provide high quality, outcome‑focused business analysis to our technology landscape, both business as usual and across our portfolio of complex change projects. You will play a pivotal role in driving business change by analysing, designing, and implementing innovative IT solutions that meet the evolving needs of our company. The role demands a proactive individual with exceptional stakeholder management skills, who will be dedicated to building strong partnerships in order to deliver an exceptional service and ultimately help provide safe, effective, and premium care experience to residents. This is a permanent, predominantly remote position with occasional travel across the UK, particularly to Inverness and London.

Required experience and qualifications
  • BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally within a technology healthcare, social care, or a similarly regulated industry
  • Experience of analysing business requirements and preparing user stories and detailed acceptance criteria
  • Experience defining end‑to‑end user journeys, workflows, and business processes, and translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications
  • Ability to work with and influence senior users within a rapidly changing business environment
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies
  • Flexible to travel across the UK
Role and responsibilities
  • Lead workshops with stakeholders to understand and document current processes, pain points, root cause analysis, and opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and systems
  • Develop detailed "as‑is" and "to‑be" process maps, ensuring that proposed solutions align with organisational goals
  • Lead the business with end‑to‑end thinking to enable holistic view for digital transformation initiatives
  • Translate complex business needs into clear, concise, testable, and traceable functional and non‑functional requirements
  • Identify and evaluate innovative IT solutions to support initiatives
  • Ensure that IT and innovation initiatives are delivered on time and within scope
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure successful communication and delivery
