Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in London is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month contract. The role involves leading the requirements lifecycle for large projects and mentoring junior BAs. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in various project methodologies and strong technical skills, including Business Process Modelling and Agile practices. This position offers a hybrid work model with 2-3 days onsite per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive BA experience managing requirements for large, complex projects.
• Proven expertise in Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, including planning, elicitation, documentation, and validation.
• Facilitate collaborative sessions with diverse groups to drive discovery and prioritize business needs.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis for changes and manage traceability from scope through to testing and implementation.
• Partner with 3rd party vendors to ensure standard adherence and support QA/UAT activities through defect triage.
• Provide guidance to junior BAs and ensure team consistency with enterprise methodologies.

Senior Business Analyst (12-Month Contract)

Location: London (Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite) Duration: 12 Months

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements delivery for medium to large-scale projects. As a subject matter expert, you will guide professionals and apply advanced analysis techniques to complex business and technology changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Leadership: Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, including planning, elicitation, documentation, and validation.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Business Process Modelling, Use Cases, Data Requirements, User Stories, and Backlog Management.
• Education: Relevant degree in Business Analysis; CBAP or PMI-PBA certifications are highly preferred.
