Job summary

A leading claims management firm is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to manage complex property damage claims in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will handle claims up to £1m, carry out site assessments, write comprehensive reports, and negotiate with involved parties. MRICS or AssocRICS qualification is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will hold MRICS or AssocRICS (minimum) qualification.

• Handle claims / projects up to £1m in value.
• Visit site(s) to assess the damage and determine causation / policy liability.
• Write / submit full reports, outlining your findings and commenting on the nature and extent of damage.
• Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other parties involved in the claim.
