Job summary

A multi-disciplinary property consultancy in Faversham, Kent, seeks a Chartered / Senior Building Surveyor. This role offers ownership of diverse projects, professional autonomy, and opportunities for career progression. Candidates should have an RICS-accredited degree and over 5 years of experience in commercial surveying. The role includes project management and providing expert advice on various surveying matters. The position offers a salary up to £65,000, flexible working, and comprehensive benefits including private medical insurance and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a commercial surveying environment.
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and autonomously.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake measured surveys and site inspections.
  • Act as Project Manager on refurbishment and new-build schemes.
  • Prepare feasibility reports, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Manage Contract Administration duties through to project completion.
  • Provide professional advice on Party Wall Matters and Condition Surveys.
  • Attend and chair client and contractor meetings.

Education

RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying
Working towards or achieved MRICS
