Job summary

A housing association is looking for a Building Surveyor / Contracts Surveyor to ensure high-quality home maintenance through planning, contract management, and stakeholder engagement. You will validate work scopes, prepare tender documents, and oversee contractor performance, ensuring compliance with building regulations. The role is office-based in either Ealing or Staines with some remote work, offering a salary of £55,000 to £57,000 plus benefits. A clean UK driving license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Manage the full tendering process and prepare recommendations.
• Liaise with residents and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.

Skills

Strong technical knowledge of buildings and building regulations

Strong organisational and communication skills

Competence in Microsoft Office and database systems

Education

ONC/HNC in Building Surveying or related discipline

Membership of RICS, CIOB, or equivalent qualification
