The Role
As Senior Broadcast Systems Engineer, you will be DAZN's subject matter expert in the design, deployment, and optimisation of the broadcast systems that power our global operations. You'll play a key role in both on-premises infrastructure at our Leeds broadcast centre and in cloud-based deployments, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and performance. With DAZN's rapid expansion, you'll lead the evolution and automation of our systems to meet growing demands without scaling linearly, ensuring efficiency and resilience at every stage. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and product teams to orchestrate public cloud workflows, optimise system efficiency, and future-proof our broadcast technology. This is a role for an innovative engineer who combines technical expertise with strategic vision for the future of broadcasting.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design and configuration of the systems that underpin the DAZN broadcast workflows and meet project requirements.
  • Work with other teams to test solutions and agree workflows
  • Lead system acceptance test planning and execution.
  • Lead documentation and wargaming on systems you create.
  • Act as our subject matter expert in our migration to cloud and hybrid cloud environments and system automation.
  • Shape the software products we use, adding features our teams need
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven track record in broadcast engineering within a modern, live sports environment.
  • Strong expertise in both on-premises and cloud-based broadcast systems.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable, efficient workflows.
  • Familiarity with orchestration, automation, and optimisation of media systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Experience of working with AWS would be great
