A Welsh healthcare institution is seeking a Senior Biomedical Scientist to lead the Red Cell Immunohaematology laboratory. The candidate will provide scientific leadership, manage staff, and ensure quality standards in a dynamic environment. An exciting opportunity has risen in the Red Cell Immunohaematology laboratory at the Welsh Blood Service for the role of Senior Biomedical Scientist (BMS).
We are looking for a transfusion specialist BMS with strong blood group serology background to join our dynamic team responsible for the provision of the all Wales Red Cell Immunohaematology (RCI) reference service.
The successful candidate will provide scientific leadership and support the Head of RCI with the day to day management as well as the strategic direction of the department.
They will also be required to demonstrate compassionate leadership skills and proactively manage competing demands in a fast changing environment.
