The post-holder is a highly experienced, state registered Senior Biomedical Scientist and performs scientific investigations in the diagnosis of infectious diseases. The role also includes managing the information and computer systems used by the Microbiology service. Additionally, acting as information Officer in respect of requests for data searches on the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
