A leading independent broker is seeking a highly experienced Aviation Broker to join their London-based Aviation division. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned market professional to work within a respected and dynamic team, placing complex global aviation risks and supporting the continued development of a well-established portfolio.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, market presence, and client-handling expertise across Airline, General Aviation, Aerospace, with a focus on developing the Aviation book and delivering high-quality service and creative placement solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of Aviation clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and retention.
  • Structure, negotiate, and place complex aviation risks within the London and international (re)insurance markets.
  • Leverage strong underwriter and market relationships to achieve optimal client outcomes.
  • Support new business initiatives through client development and networking.
  • Provide technical input on policy wording, placement strategy, and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across broking, claims, and analytics functions to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Represent the firm at market meetings, client presentations, and industry events.
About You
  • Significant experience within Aviation.
  • Strong knowledge of Airline, General Aviation, Aerospace manufacturing, or related Aviation risks.
  • Established relationships with key clients and underwriters across the Aviation market.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Commercially focused with a proactive approach to client service and business development.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
