As a Senior QA Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the survival team audio department in pursuing award-winning audio quality in our games. This will include finding and entering issues into the project database, working closely with developers to fix and prevent issues, and contributing feedback to give the best possible user experience to our players. Key Responsibilities
  • Be an expert in the current and desired quality and experience of our game, and assist the audio team in bridging a gap between the two.
  • Find and report defects in the game, report on overall quality and experience, understand the goals of the audio team, and use that knowledge to triage issues, escalate Key/critical issues, and help meet targets and quality goals.
  • Provide feedback on user experience from an audio perspective and help the team understand their work's impact on player value.
  • Support and assist the audio team based on your experience and the changing needs of the team.
  • Record and communicate test results and task progress daily, including status updates, verification, and regression of fixed defects.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of core features for titles in development and use in-house tools to improve bug quality and accuracy.
  • Work with QA and the audio development team to aim for the highest quality product within deadlines.

  • Self-management skills and ability to generate tasks.
  • Experience playing a variety of PC video games, including Real-Time Strategy genres.
  • A passion for video games and the creative process.
  • Experience with the Alien: Isolation game.
  • 3+ years of experience in audio testing or related fields.
