A leading international real estate consultancy is seeking a talented Associate or Senior Associate Building Surveyor to join their high-performing team in London. You’ll play a key role in the delivery of professional Building Surveying services to a well-established client base, spanning sectors such as industrial, commercial offices, retail, and mixed-use. Depending on your level, you will also be expected to contribute to the mentoring of junior surveyors and the wider growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on a range of professional instructions including dilapidations, landlord and tenant matters, reinstatement cost assessments, technical due diligence, and contract administration
Manage all phases of the dilapidations process – from survey to negotiation
Maintain and grow relationships with an existing, lucrative client base
Support and develop junior surveyors, graduates and apprentices through structured mentoring and APC guidance
Contribute to service delivery improvements and support senior leadership on business development initiatives
Work collaboratively with other business areas to deliver a seamless service to clients
Qualifications:
MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
Experience & Attributes:
Strong experience delivering core professional surveying services, particularly dilapidations
Confident in client-facing settings with experience managing key stakeholders
Able to manage projects from inception to completion or eager to step into a more autonomous role
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Commercially aware, with experience in office, industrial, retail, or mixed-use sectors
A proactive and personable approach, with a passion for continuous improvement
