A leading NHS Trust in Wolverhampton is seeking a Senior Assistant Technical Officer for a part-time role in its state-of-the-art Radiopharmacy. Responsibilities include dispensing radiopharmaceuticals, supporting aseptic manufacturing activities, and maintaining quality control. Candidates must have GCSE Maths and English at grade C, and an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services or the willingness to complete it. Previous experience in Aseptics or Radiopharmacy is desirable. This role supports flexible working arrangements.
The Senior Assistant Technical Officer will carry out duties in a brand new state of the art Radiopharmacy.
These duties will include environmental monitoring, waste management, maintaining stock levels, cleaning of isolators and clean rooms in accordance with trust policy and procedures.
The post holder will assist with the aseptic preparation and dispensing of sterile diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, including blood labelling. They will assist with the day to day running of the Radiopharmacy participating in a variety of technical and clerical tasks involved in production, quality control and distribution of the radiopharmceuticals
We have 2 part time positions 18.75 hours per week.
