Operational Services Manager – Aseptic Production Unit

A Vacancy at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

We have a highly regarded Aseptic Production Unit (APU) at the Trust and we moved into our brand new facility in 2023.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual with significant experience in aseptic services. You will work closely with the other Operational Services Managers to help steer the team at the production unit. You will support & facilitate the production activity of the APU.

Your input will be vital, ensuring that quality is at the centre of everything we do for our patients across the NHS and private healthcare settings.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and maintain on a day-to-day basis, the manufacturing services, in line with resources and service demands.
  • Ensure that activities and records relating to the monitoring and validation of the environment, equipment processes and staff performance are correctly carried out.
  • Work in conjunction with the Assistant Director - Manufacturing Services and the Quality Assurance team, to ensure that aseptic dispensing and manufacturing is carried out in compliance with current legislation (as regulated by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency - MHRA) and standards following the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Qualifications
  • Must have the required qualification, registration and have experience of working in Aseptic Services.
  • Significant experience in aseptic services.
