We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to provide high‑quality analytical services and operational support within our laboratory. This is a key role where you’ll carry out routine and non‑routine testing, assist with method development, and deputise for the Laboratory Manager when required. You’ll also play an active part in training staff and driving compliance with Good Laboratory Practices.
Perform routine and non‑routine analysis on raw materials, finished products, forage samples, and R&D samples.
Interpret results and prepare detailed reports for all laboratory activities.
Operate and maintain advanced analytical instruments (HPLC, ICP‑OES/MS, FTIR, UV‑Vis, NIRS, etc.).
Assist with method development, validation, and troubleshooting.
Maintain SOPs, calibration records, and ensure GMP compliance.
Manage stock control and coordinate incoming samples.
Review and approve analytical reports and investigations.
Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.
Train laboratory staff and delegate workloads effectively.
Provide operational support and deputise for the Laboratory Manager.
You’ll bring:
A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial testing laboratory.
Hands‑on experience with analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, ICP, UV‑Vis, FTIR, titrations).
Strong knowledge of GMP and SOP compliance.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Experience in training and developing staff.

Monday – Friday 8‑5, fully on‑site
