Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a UK practice.
• Proven experience supervising junior staff.
• Strong background in accounts, tax, and cloud-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Finalise statutory accounts under FRS 102 / FRS 105.
• Review and oversee bookkeeping, VAT, CIS, and payroll submissions.
• Manage all statutory filings with HMRC and Companies House.
• Provide proactive tax planning and business advisory support.
• Supervise, coach and mentor junior team members.
• Act as primary technical contact for assigned clients.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of Xero

Strong understanding of UK GAAP

Knowledge of VAT

Knowledge of CIS

Knowledge of PAYE

Education

Fully qualified ACCA / ACA (or equivalent)
