Senior Accountant

Overview

NC Associates are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant on behalf of our client based in Skelmersdale. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who will be joining an established business. As a Senior Accountant you will be working closely with senior members of the company, reporting into the Financial Manager.


Responsibilities


  • Producing end-to-end management accounts

  • Balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Accruals & Prepayments, banking and bank reconciliations.

  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset register

  • Cashflow forecasting and management

  • Maintaining credit management and debtor management systems.

  • Reviewing internal controls and setting up new controls where necessary.

  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.


Experience / Qualifications


  • A professional accounting qualification – CIMA

  • Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts is essential

  • Strong Excel skills are essential

  • Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail in all aspects of financial work.

  • Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders

  • Exceptional communication skills
