Senior Account Manager – Logistics Services

Location: Aylesbury

Salary: Up to c£42,000 (depending on experience) + great benefits

We’re working with a growing organisation in the logistics sector, looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join their team. In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for a key account, ensuring smooth planning and delivery of large-scale events and the logistical challenges involved. You’ll balance strong customer relationships with commercial awareness — confidently managing expectations, having challenging conversations when needed, and ensuring projects run profitably without compromising service.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing client accounts from enquiry through to event completion
  • Preparing quotations, schedules, and event documentation
  • Coordinating logistics, vehicles, crew, and equipment
  • Being available during events (including some evenings/weekends)
  • Working closely with internal teams to keep operations on track
  • Resolving issues quickly, always keeping service levels high
What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience and knowledge gained in event management, trade shows or similar
  • Experience managing complex client relationships at a senior level
  • Knowledge of event logistics (vehicles, routing, crew management)
  • Calm under pressure, highly organised, able to multitask
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel essential); knowledge of warehouse/ordering systems useful
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to support out of hours / weekend requirements as necessary
