Job summary

An educational agency is currently seeking SEND Tutors for on-site roles in England. The positions require relevant teaching qualifications and experience. Job description

Hampshire County Council are currently looking for 2 SEND Tutors , one MAT cover and one temporary.

• Starting September - 19th December
• On site working either Basingstoke OR Fareham/ Winchester - Travel between sits paid for.
• 250 a day umbrella (9:30 - 4:30)
• Must have enhanced child and adult DBS

Job Purpose

To provide an education that prepares learners for a successful future by ensuring the curriculum offer has a clear intent, is delivered effectively, and achieves positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality education through teaching sessions that meet the identified needs of learners, inspiring them to engage, attain, and progress.
• Monitor learner progress, identify gaps in learning, and provide support to ensure positive outcomes.
• Support development of learner profiles, and resources, including digital content, to meet learner needs and comply with quality assurance, regulatory, and assessment requirements.
• Support core skills delivery (English, Maths, and Essential Digital Skills), including accredited programmes where relevant

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Teaching & Learning qualification at Level 5+ (minimum: Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills).
• English and Maths qualification (Level 2+).
