Teaching Assistant - Full Time

Hartlepool TS24 area - £444 per week

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a part time Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a primary school in the TS24 area.

This is a full time Teaching Assistant role, 5 days a week 8:30am until 3:30pm, working a role of a TA in a SEND base supporting a group of children ranging from EYFS-KS1 ages with a range of needs.

This role will commence Jan 2026 and will be on going with a potential to become long term, depending on the needs of the school at the time.

SEND experience essential to the role, also someone who is patient and pro active.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 3 or above in Teaching and Supporting Learning would be desirable to the role.

The Role

Working as part of a passionate teaching team, the desired teaching assistant will focus on providing a high standard of support for a group of children in a school SEND base. Must be flexible to changing environments and working within small intervention groups.

The School

This primary school is looking for a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The Head Teacher and leadership team are dedicated to providing an outstanding level of education to the children within the school. The school is friendly and welcoming and has a positive ethos.

Requirements

  • Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment.
