Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will provide individualized support, assist with behavior management, and help facilitate classroom activities. Candidates should have experience working with children with SEND, effective communication skills, and must hold a valid Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply. We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), SEMH, and learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and confident supporting students on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
