Job Opportunity: Special Education Teacher (Autism Specialist)

The Role
  • Class Leadership: Responsible for a small, focused class of 8-10 pupils, all with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition.
  • Support Team: You will lead a dedicated classroom team, typically consisting of a Teaching Assistant (TA) and a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
  • Innovative Curriculum: Deliver learning through the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), focusing on inquiry-based, holistic education.
  • Holistic Development: Manage all aspects of pupil education, including setting targets, preparing reports, and chairing Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews.
