Are you a passionate SEND Teacher looking for meaningful and rewarding work that makes a real difference? Flourish Education is recruiting for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a specialist Primary SEN School in the Alcester area. This is a full‑time, long‑term position, working Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible.

This role involves teaching and supporting primary‑aged pupils (ages 5–11) with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as ADHD and challenging behaviours, including both verbal and physical behaviours. Pupils are working at a variety of ability levels, often below age‑related expectations, with an emphasis on developing emotional regulation, social skills, and positive learning behaviours.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEND Teacher Role
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • In-depth knowledge of SEND, with a particular focus on supporting pupils with Physical, complex and learning needs, and complex care requirements including the safe and accurate administration of medication as part of individual healthcare plans.
  • Experience working in a special school, PRU or inclusive mainstream setting
  • Familiarity with strategies for managing behaviour and supporting children with emotional and behavioural challenges
  • Must be confident in planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs and learning outcomes.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices
Salary
  • £31,650 - £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days a week until the end of term
