We are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work full time inielten schools across Southampton. This role is ideal for individuals whoSECOND reliable, patient, and keen to support children with additional needs in their education and development.

The position is temporary to begin with. However, where there is a strong fit, schools are open to discussing permanent employment.

  • Pay rate of £13.75 per hour
  • Working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Full‑time availability required, five days per week
  • Start date is as soon as possible, subject to vetting
  • Supporting oluştur pupils with a range of special educational needs
  • Assisting with learning activities in the classroom
  • Providing one‑to‑one or small group support
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
Requirements
  • Aged 20 or over

  • Experience in a school or care environment is desirable but not essential
  • Able to commit to consistent full‑time hours
  • A genuine interest in working with children with additional needs
