The Role

  • 1:1 Mentoring: Work closely with specific students to help them navigate the school day, from core subjects to social interactions.
  • Collaboration: Be the "bridge" between the student and the teacher, ensuring that lessons are tailored to the student's specific EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan).
The Requirements
  • Resilience: A thick skin and a calm, patient temperament are vital in this role.
  • Empathy: The ability to see the world through the student's eyes and understand their barriers to learning.
  • Experience: Previous work in education, care, youth coaching, or the military/emergency services is often a great fit for this environment.
  • DBS: Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to apply for one).
The Randstad Benefit
  • Pay: £90 - £110 per day, with weekly pay every Friday.
  • Referral Bonus: Earn £300 in Love2Shop vouchers for every person you refer to us!
