SEND Cover Teacher – Creative & Flexible Role

Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Competitive Pay

We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable teacher to provide full-time PPA cover across a specialist educational setting in Sheffield. This is a unique opportunity to teach dance across the school while also delivering a range of curriculum subjects in class-based settings.

The role includes one full day per week working as part of a job share in a classroom alongside a four-day member of staff, with the remaining days focused on PPA cover across all pathways and age groups. The setting supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties, and communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive dance sessions tailored to pupils with SEND.
  • Provide high-quality cover across a variety of subjects and pathways.
  • Collaborate with class teams to ensure continuity and consistency for learners.
  • Support pupils with diverse needs, including those who are non-verbal or require personal care.
