Job Description:

Job Title: SEN Tutor

Contract Type: Casual

Hourly Pay: £22 £26 per hour

Location: Skipton

Hours: 10 hours per week

The Role

As a SEN Tutor, you’ll:

  • Deliver Maths, English, and intervention sessions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.
  • Work face‑to‑face with learners in their homes or a neutral location such as a community library, or if needed, over Microsoft Teams; this is across the Skipton and Craven area.
  • Support vulnerable students by tailoring lessons to their learning needs.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding advisors to ensure learners’ wellbeing and development are fully supported.
About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with vulnerable students and varying EHCPs.
  • Brings a compassionate, student‑focused approach, particularly for learners with SEND or SEMH needs.
  • Has tutoring or teaching experience with children requiring additional support.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
