Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

The Leader Group is proud to be supporting a growing education programme which is part of a leading specialist education provider, in their search for a dedicated SEN Tutor. This role is all about making a genuine difference for learners who need extra support to reach their potential and find it a challenge to participate in attending school or learning sessions. By supporting multiple pupils within the week in various locations across the region, the role involves delivering support to help pupils engage with the school experience and achieve their academic goals.

The Role
  • Deliver Maths, English, and intervention sessions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.
  • Work face-to-face with learners in their homes or in a neutral location such as a community library or, if needed, over Microsoft Teams, across the Stockport area.
  • Support vulnerable students by tailoring lessons to their learning needs.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding advisers to ensure learners\' well-being and development are fully supported.
About You

We\'re looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS/QTLS (essential).
  • Brings a compassionate, student-focused approach, particularly for learners with SEND or SEMH needs.
  • Has tutoring or teaching experience with children requiring additional support.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
