Job summary

A local educational support provider in Moulton is seeking Tutors to support students requiring additional help. The role includes providing individualized one-on-one tutoring, managing student behavior, and collaborating with teachers and parents. Applicants should have a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be adaptable in their teaching methods. Preferred experience includes working with SEN students in an educational environment. This position may require both in-person and some online tutoring sessions.

Qualifications

• Ability to stay calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Proven skills in managing and improving student behaviour.
• Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and effective support strategies.
• Previous experience working with SEN students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to adjust methods and approaches based on individual student needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to student(s).
• Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies.
• Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
• Track and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
