Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a passionate SEN Tutor in Manchester to provide tailored 1:1 support for students with complex Special Educational Needs, including Autism and ADHD. The position is part-time (20 hours/week) starting January 2026, with duties including delivering personalized lessons, fostering a supportive learning environment, and maintaining feedback communication with parents. Candidates must have relevant tutoring experience and be eligible to work in the UK. An Enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English.
• Experience working with SEN learners in a 1:1 or small group setting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE Maths and English lessons on a 1:1 basis.
• Adapt lesson materials to meet student's learning style.
• Help students develop study skills and improve exam confidence.
• Establish a trusting rapport with students.
• Monitor and provide feedback on student progress.
