Job description

Job Title: SEN Tutor
Contract Type: Casual
Hourly Pay: £25 - £40 per hour
Location: Thatcham
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

The Role

As a SEN Tutor, you'll:

  • Deliver Maths, English, and intervention sessions at KS3 or foundation KS4 level.
  • Work face-to-face with learners in their homes or a neutral location such as a community library or, if needed, over Microsoft Teams. This is across the Thatcham (Berkshire) area.
  • Support vulnerable students by tailoring lessons to their learning needs.
  • Collaborate with safeguarding advisors to ensure learners\' wellbeing and development are fully supported.
About You

We\'re looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS/QTLS (essential).
  • Brings a compassionate, student-focused approach, particularly for learners with SEND or SEMH needs.
  • Has tutoring or teaching experience with children requiring additional support.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence.
