SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools - Nottingham
Location: Nottingham
Pay Scale: £95 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing
Contract Type: Full-time / Term-time only

Aspire People are currently recruiting for passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Nottingham. If you have experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN), and are looking to make a meaningful difference in their learning and development, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis with a range of needs including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

ADHD

Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties

You will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support plans and help children achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Requirements
Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting

A patient, resilient and caring nature

Good communication and teamwork skills

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through us)

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
