Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in a welcoming school in Newark. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN TA or a confident Level 3 practitioner looking for a long-term role where they can make a real difference to children’s learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.

Help pupils access the curriculum and achieve their individual learning targets.

Support pupils’ social, buffer, and behavioural development.

Adapt learning resources and activities to meet pupils’ specific needs.

Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, differentiation, and classroom management.

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.

Promote positive behaviour and a calm, structured learning environment.

Recent experience working in an SEN or inclusive education setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.

Ability to work under the guidance of teaching staff while using initiative.
