SEN Teaching Assistant | £85-£100 per Day | Flexible Days | Primary SEN Units in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Reeson Education is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistants to work across SEN units in primary schools in Portsmouth, supporting children with additional needs. About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work in a variety of primary schools across Portsmouth. These SEN units are tailored to support children with autism (ASD), speech and language difficulties, and complex needs. Each day brings a new experience as you support pupils in inclusive, nurturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and group support for children with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their goals.
  • Assist in implementing tailored learning and behaviour plans for pupils with a range of needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Support pupils' emotional and social development, encouraging independence and confidence.
  • Adapt to new settings quickly, bringing energy and a proactive approach to each school you work in.
