Job summary

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role where you can truly make a difference? As we move into 2026, we are seeking committed, resilient, and passionate SEN TAs to join our growing all-boys SEMH school team.

Our school has gone from strength to strength over the past three years and continues to expand. The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs
  • Help students regulate emotions, engage with learning, and build confidence
  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support individual learning and behaviour plans
  • Be a consistent, calm, and positive presence throughout the school day
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has previous experience supporting children with SEMH needs (1:1 or group work)
  • Is calm, resilient, patient, and proactive
  • Is flexible and committed to working full time
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
  • Can build strong, professional relationships with pupils and staff
Essential Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (ideally) or willingness to obtain one
  • Overseas Police Check (OCC) if applicable
  • An up-to-date CV clearly outlining your experience working with children, ideally within SEMH settings
Start Date
  • Immediate start available for suitable candidates
