SEN Teaching Assistant - Trauma & Emotional Needs (Reception)

Location: Colindale
Salary: £100-£115 per day

About the Role

Long Term Futures is seeking two compassionate, resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to support a Reception-aged child who has experienced trauma and is displaying significant emotional and behavioural needs. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to help the child regulate, access learning, and feel safe within the school environment.
Alongside this primary focus, you will also support pupils who are showing early signs of autism as well as children with high and complex needs, including speech and language development. Flexibility, patience, and the ability to build strong relationships are essential.
This is an excellent position for someone with experience in trauma-informed practice, SEMH, Early Years, or autism support.
