You will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity for vulnerable students aged 5 to 16 who are unable to attend mainstream education, providing a trauma-informed learning environment.

The Role: Lead Learning and Impact Lives (Supply Basis)

As a QTS Supply Teacher, you will be pivotal in delivering short-term educational support. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a safe, positive, and stable learning environment for students requiring temporary cover.

  • Following school procedures for behaviour management and safeguarding.

  • Collaborating with on-site Learning Mentors and staff to ensure a smooth transition of support.

This is a flexible, term-time supply position where you can truly impact a young person's life prospects without the commitment of a permanent contract.

Who We're Looking For

You will be a dedicated, creative, and resilient professional who is:

  • A Fully Qualified Teacher (QTS) with experience across key stages, ideally in core subjects (Maths, English, Science are highly valued).

  • Experienced or passionate about working with students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.

  • An exceptional and empathetic communicator who can quickly establish positive rapport.

  • Adaptable and resourceful - able to step into various settings and manage complex behaviour effectively.

What We Offer You

We recognise the dedication required for this essential role and offer excellent benefits:

  • Flexible working pattern to suit your schedule.

  • Access to specialist, trauma-informed CPD and coaching.

  • Opportunity to work with dedicated 1-2-1 student support staff.

  • A supportive, collaborative team committed to your success.

Where You'll Work

You will be providing day-to-day supply cover across our alternative provision academy bases, serving the communities of Bristol and Bath.

If you are ready to use your QTS for flexible, rewarding work and make a lasting impact on vulnerable young people, we urge you to apply today!
