An independent special education provider in Cardiff is seeking an SEN Teacher for a temp to perm role starting September. The ideal candidate will teach primary curriculum to SEN pupils aged 14+, working towards entry level accreditations. The role offers development opportunities for qualified or unqualified teachers. Competitive salary ranges from £150 to £220 per day.
SEN Teacher - Cardiff - £150 to £220 - Temp to Perm Role
This SEN Teacher role is available for September until the end of the academic year, and will go Permanent for the right candidate. The SEN Teacher will be teaching the primary curriculum. The pupils are aged 14+ and are working towards accreditations within the class at pre-entry level or entry level 1. This is equivalent to early primary school level work. The SEN Teacher would be supported by our accreditation lead for this role.
This school is an independent special school for 40 pupils between 9 to 18 years of age. Many of our children have profound and multiple learning difficulties. A significant number of the children have additional sensory and physical impairments, autistic spectrum disorder and social and communication difficulties. Situated on the beautiful 34-acre grounds of Craig-y-Parc House, surrounded by historic grade II listed gardens and buildings.
