Overview

SEN Class Teacher needed for a Specialist School in Uxbridge. Full-time position at a Complex Needs School. The role is suitable for candidates with experience of working with pupils aged 7–19 with complex/severe and moderate learning difficulties. Onsite parking available.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning within a multi-disciplinary classroom team.
  • Work with pupils aged 7–19 who have complex/severe and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Contribute to the wider curriculum and staff development.
  • Support the development of both yourself and your pupils, aligned with performance appraisal processes.
  • Meet safeguarding responsibilities and maintain a safe environment for pupils.
  • Collaborate in a supportive and collegiate team setting and contribute to a positive school culture.
Requirements
  • QTS or QTLS
  • Experience of working within a SEN environment
  • Commitment to the development of both yourself and the pupils in your class
  • Ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning and to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Understanding and commitment to safeguarding children
