A dedicated SEN tuition provider in Birmingham seeks a passionate SEN Specialist Tutor for one-to-one home tuition. This role involves providing tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs, working flexibly in familiar environments. Ideal candidates will have experience with SEN children, relevant teaching qualifications preferred but not essential, and a patient, adaptable approach. You'll help children re-engage with learning through personalized tuition, delivering impactful education in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs.
• Experience with PECS and/or Makaton is highly desirable.
• A genuine passion for supporting children who require alternative provision.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one home tuition for children with a range of SEN.
• Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes in line with each child’s EHCP.
• Create a calm and supportive learning environment.
