Job description

Classroom support are excited to be working on behalf of a SEN School in Bromley who are looking for SEN experienced Teaching Assistant's on an academic year contract. The school has an SEN provision that caters for their SEN pupils.

They are looking for 1 x Teaching Assistant to support their SEN pupil who has Speech and language difficulties and has minimal English language skills based in Year 3.

They also require 1:1 support for a pupil who has been through some trauma and ideally looking for a TA with an understanding in Attachment and supporting those with SEMH needs.

The rate of pay is £90+ per day for the right candidate.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of working with children in any setting.
• Experience in the care or school sector advantageous.
• Positive behaviour management and a calm and patient demeanour.
• Fluent English language skills.

DBS Requirements

If you do not have an online DBS, you will need to have a Enhanced DBS with a children barred list check, on the update service or be willing to pay for one, the cost is £63.70 for us to run one the same as if you were to do it yourself. Without one we cannot place you within a local school.
