The tuition or mentoring provision is in-person as one-to-one sessions. These take place in the learner's home setting or a venue within the community. Young Giants is a holistic and inclusive term-time tuition and mentoring service, providing an alternative education provision supporting children who are temporarily out of school, as day time one-to-one tuition and mentoring.
As a managed education service, we remain responsible for the management and quality of education provided to each of our learners.
Founded and run by qualified teachers, we work closely alongside our tutors in assessing and maintaining effective needs-based programmes of education support.

Mentoring roles involve supporting a learner to reflect on past experiences in education and look towards their future (this can include supporting with life skills, college applications, CV writing, travel training and employability - bespoke planning based on individual learner need - support provided with planning).
Tutoring roles require a tutor to play a crucial role in delivering a bespoke educational plan in an engaging and meaningful way. Your responsibilities will include:
