We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teacher to join a specialist education setting in Trowbridge. This is a full-time, long-term SEMH Teacher role supporting children and young people who benefit from consistency, structure, and emotionally informed teaching.
This opportunity is ideal for a SEMH Teacher who recognises that behaviour is a form of communication and who can remain calm, reflective, and resilient in a therapeutic learning environment. Relationship‑building is central to this setting, with staff working collaboratively to provide pupils with stability, safety, and renewed confidence in learning.
The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, often alongside autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and trauma‑related experiences. Small class sizes and strong pastoral systems allow every SEMH Teacher the time to teach with purpose and impact.
