If you're a dedicated and adaptable teacher with a passion for supporting young people outside of mainstream education, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

About the Provision: This multi-site Alternative Provision supports learners across KS2-KS4, offering tailored education to students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, and behavioural challenges. Each site has its own unique setting, but all share a commitment to nurturing, inclusive education that prioritises student wellbeing and re-engagement with learning.

Roles

We are recruiting for ASAP starts across several of the provision's sites, with opportunities for:

  • General teaching across KS2-KS4
  • Subject-specific roles (particularly English, Maths, Science, PSHE)
  • Long-term and temp-to-perm placements
  • Full-time positions available
Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Support students with behavioural and emotional challenges, using a calm and restorative approach.
  • Work closely with a dedicated team of support staff, SENCOs and pastoral leads.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment.
  • Track and report on student progress in line with individual learning plans or EHCPs.
Requirements
  • QTS or QTLS (applications from ECTs are welcome).
  • Experience working in AP, PRU, SEND, or with students displaying challenging behaviour.
  • Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive, consistent relationships.
  • A patient, adaptable, and trauma-informed approach to teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us).
How to apply

If you are interested in this role please email with an up to date copy of your CV, or give us a call on for an informal chat about opportunities. To be considered for the top of the pay bracket, applicants must have extensive experience in planning and teaching pupils with SEN/SEMH.
