Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Learning Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or similar support role.
• Understanding of SEMH needs and effective behaviour management strategies.
• Strong communication, empathy, and resilience.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond positively to challenges.
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEMH needs within a specialist provision.
• Develop trusting relationships with pupils.
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and external agencies.
• Promote inclusion and wellbeing within the school community.
