Teaching Personnel are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive SEMH secondary school in Bolton. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will be supporting children with SEMH needs such as Anxiety, Low self-esteem, anxiety-based school avoidance, challenging behaviour and Attachment-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs in a classroom and 1:1 setting.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive engagement.
  • Assist teachers in creating a safe, structured learning environment.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage progress.
  • Monitor and report on pupil behaviour and development.
