Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Behaviour Lead, Pastoral Lead, Assistant SENCO, or Senior Behaviour Mentor.
• Strong understanding of SEMH, trauma-informed practice, and behaviour management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to remain calm and solution-focused during challenges.
• A passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable young people.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and monitoring of behaviour policies.
• Coach and mentor staff in behaviour management and de-escalation techniques.
• Coordinate and deliver personalised interventions for pupils with SEMH needs.
• Manage behaviour incidents and model best practices.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and external agencies.
