Self-Employed Female PA Wanted (No personal Care)
Ref: LTES696
Location: Eastbourne
This role is to support a Woman. The candidate should be a woman. Exemption for gender is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9.
We are looking for a caring and trustworthy female PA to support a friendly and thoughtful woman who lives with a mild learning disability and experiences anxiety. She enjoys her independence but can find it difficult to form relationships and often spends a lot of time on her own. When feeling anxious, she tends to withdraw, so having someone consistent, calm, and encouraging around her can make a real difference in helping her feel more connected and motivated.
She has a supportive relationship with her dad, who lives locally and helps when he can, but she would really benefit from regular, structured support to engage more with her community and take part in everyday life with confidence.
The PA will support her in a number of ways, including taking her out and about in the PA’s car for shopping, appointments, and community activities such as swimming, cycling with Wheels for All, visiting cafés, going to the gym, walking, bowling, and looking into new opportunities she might enjoy. Encouraging her to build confidence around others and helping her engage with people in public settings is also an important part of the role. Light support at home may include preparing simple meals, encouraging healthy routines, and occasionally helping her get ready for the day.
