Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of security best practices across MacOS and Windows platforms.
  • Proven track record with compliance and security frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, PCI-DSS or other FCA regulations.

  • Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to meet regulatory obligations.
  • Support vulnerability management efforts, including patching and hardening.

As Security Operations Team Lead you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our Information Security Strategy and Roadmap, ensuring alignment with the key strategic objectives of Suits Me as an organisation. You will be responsible for leading the Security Operations Team and providing day-to-day support to end users, while driving continuous improvement in the company's overall security posture and operational resilience. Responsibilities
  • Owning the deployment of effective security governance and awareness across the wider organisation. providing security leadership to a small team of SecOps Engineers.
  • Developing and delivering a roadmap for security products and services to support the Suits Me growth plans Assist with internal and external audits by providing evidence of controls and contributing to audit readiness activities.
  • Collaborate with the compliance and risk teams to ensure IT operations meet regulatory obligations.
  • Support vulnerability management efforts, including patching and system hardening.
  • Contribute to incident response planning and participate in post-incident reviews.
  • Continuously improve IT security posture by identifying gaps and implementing effective solutions in line with best practices and regulatory guidance.
  • Being seen as the top technical authority on all Security matters within Suits Me.
  • Ownership and delivery of our security awareness programme.
  • Ensuring company-wide compliance with our internal security policies.
Qualifications
  • Proven previous experience in an IT Operations and/or Security Engineer role, ideally within a fintech or regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices across MacOS and Windows platforms.
  • Proven tracked record with compliance and security frameworks such as, Cyber Essentials, PCI-DSS or other FCA regulations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond quickly to technical issues.
  • Good documentation skills and an ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to explain security concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Good knowledge of the security marketplace, products and capabilities and understands the relationship between a variety of common security solutions.
