Security Engineer / Installer

Midlands Based | Up to £42,000 + Excellent Package | Permanent

We’re partnering with a growing and well-established security solutions provider who are looking to recruit an experienced Security Engineer / Installer into their engineering team. This is a remote, Midlands-based role with no travel outside your region, offering stability, work–life balance, and genuine development opportunities.

The Role

As a key member of the engineering team, you will :

  • Install and commission intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
  • Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and efficient fault-finding
  • Ensure all work aligns with BS EN 50131, PD 6662, SSAIB / NSI and GDPR requirements
  • Deliver clear system guidance and excellent customer service to clients
  • Complete accurate job sheets, reports and compliance documentation
  • Work closely with operations and support junior engineers when required
About You

We are looking for :

  • A minimum of three years’ experience working on intruder alarms, CCTV and access control
  • Strong technical knowledge of IP / analogue CCTV, fault diagnosis and commissioning
  • A solid understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, 18th Edition, SSAIB / NSI) – desirable
  • Full UK driving licence and the ability to pass a DBS check
  • Strong communication skills, excellent organisation, and a customer-focused approach
